16.1 Release Notes

Release 16.1.1 - 15th April 2025

Improvements

  • Improved error message in the case of a missing/invalid license with the REST server.

Bug fixes

  • Running a comparison after shutting down the REST server no longer throws an exception for licenses not being checked in.

  • Error thrown for attempting to run a rest server with missing or broken license tells you what is wrong rather than throwing a cannot checkin license exception.

  • When MoveDetectionConfig is set via DCP the new moves are no longer turned off when the deprecated moves-with-keys aren't used.

  • An error relating to CUST-1293 where a comparison would get stuck in the QUEUED state when using REST client has been fixed.

  • Using the REST client with files with special characters and spaces in filenames now works correctly. This was customer support case CUST-1293.

  • Fixed interaction between white space normalisation and element moves.

  • Fixed an issue with redundant license check-ins with the REST server.


Release 16.1.0 - 17th January 2025

Improvements

  • Introduced an option to launch multiple XML Compare REST servers allowing for better architecture scaling and load distribution. This feature relies on Concurrent Operation license model.

Bug fixes

  • The hostname specified for the REST client, using a system property, is no longer override by the default value

  • Presence of the z-index (with SVG processing turned off) no longer enables moves handling

  • Fixed performance regression involving creation of redundant move candidates
