16.0 Release Notes

Release 16.0.0 - 18th September 2024

New Feature

  • A new subtree processing feature added to the Document Comparator. The Subtree Processing feature allows subtrees/sections to be compared with their appropriate content type. This improves performance and helps XML Compare to provide better results. Please see for more details - Subtree Processing Mode.

Bug fixes

  • REST server no longer hangs while doing moves processing. This was customer support case ESP-136.

  • XML Compare no longer throws an exception on Windows while producing comparison reports.

Dependency Changes

  • XML Compare now supports Saxon versions 10.9, 11.5 and 12.4, for more information see our System Integration information. However, XML Compare is still distributed with Saxon 9.
