Release 12.1.4 - 12th Feb 2026

Bug Fixes

• DITA Compare now handles inner tables and processes them using advanced table processing.

• MathML processing now correctly uses ‘mathbackground’ attribute so that PDF publishing highlights redlines.

Release 12.1.3 - 19th May 2025

Bug fixes

• When using format=svg on an image element, the image in the result is represented appropriately when SVG processing is turned off.

• Use of customised defaults for container elements like “ph” or “text” is allowed when using customised DITA, regardless of the DITA catalog version.

Release 12.1.2 - 25th February 2025

Bug fixes

• Image comparison takes priority over SVG processing if it is disabled

• Referenced SVG output no longer gets truncated due to page end when published to pdf

Release 12.1.1 - 10th October 2024

Bug fixes

• DITA Compare GUI not starting on Windows machines have been resolved.

• The usage logging fallback mechanism with evaluation licenses no longer throws an exception.

• Referenced SVGs compared within DITA Compare now remain as referenced SVGs in the output.

Dependency updates

• Updates to 3rd party legal notices. 

Release 12.1.0 - 30th August 2024

Dependency Changes

• DITA Compare now supports Saxon versions 10.9, 11.5, 12.4. However, DITA Compare is still distributed with Saxon 9.

Bug fixes

• REST server no longer hangs while doing moves processing. This was customer support case ESP-136.
